Nonobjective abstracts give me the opportunity to experiment with color created by fluid paints poured together on the paper surface to mingle forming a myriad of colors. Stained transparent rice papers overlapping to form new colors and shapes, textured papers adding a new element: abstract art seems to be the purest form of painting and the most difficult.
